I am Mary, I have 15 years hosting Spanish students in Salamanca. For my students have gone home over 50 different nationalities. With many of them I still have contact by email or by facebook now. Some of them have even been staying at my house several times.  I live alone and work in the morning outside the home. But at home there is always a student and have a capacity for 4 students, who usually make good friendship stays at home. I have two sons. One lives in the apartment next door, and I visit daily. The other lives in Madrid and is a few weekends.
