Konnichiwa! Welcome to Japan! Planning to visit or study Japanese language in Tokyo? We are looking forward to having you with us. You might be nervous as well as excited about living in Tokyo. Hope the below descriptions will give you some ideas about our place and family. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. We are always happy to answer all your questions From our house in just 1-4 mins walk, you can reach a wholesale supermarket, a newly-opened huge supermarket, 2 convenience stores which open 24 hours, discounted store where you can buy drinks, toiletries, instant food, etc. There are also a second-hand book store, a clothing store and bento shop in just a matter of 1-3 minutes walking. Shabu-shabu restaurant, yakiniku restaurant, gyudon restaurant, western food restaurant are within 10-12 minutes away on foot. You can get almost everything you need. And yet, our place is quiet and in a tidy residential area. There are 2 stations you can use. Both are very convenient. They bring you straight to Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Roppongi, Yokohama or all major stations. In just 15 minutes walk, you can reach stations, shopping mall or park. During rainy day you can also walk to the bus stop which is only 5 mins away on foot. Inside the park there are many public facilities, like library, public pool, bird sanctuary, running track, etc. You can rent a bicycle and cycle around a huge park, too. At the moment we have our daughter and youngest son staying with us. She is working and he is an undergraduate student. Besides Japanese, we speak fluent English and I speak Indonesian. We travel overseas every year and enjoy meeting people. *We are happy to help you with your Japanese study for free whenever we can. We have 1 single room, about 10.5m2, on the 2nd floor with a ceiling window and a big window. The room is so bright and warm. It has 1 big desk with chair, study lamp, stereo, computer, some spaces in the cupboard for your belongings, AC, side table and coat hanger. I am sure you can study or work comfortably in this room. The wallpaper has been changed 2 years ago. We have another room located on the 1st floor about 10.5m2 with big windows. It is bright and nice and facing outside but not noisy. At night, you need to close the shutter, so it's completely safe. It has desk with desk lamp, drawer for clothes, a bookshelf, private TV, AC, coat hanger and heater. We'll provide a new bed sheet, futon cover and pillow case and in-house sandals for those who stay for more than 2 months. We have upright piano in the living room. You are free to practice it, just let us know beforehand. You can use microwave and toaster. For breakfast, we provide cereal/toast, yoghurt and sometimes some apples, tea or coffee. We don't provide lunch/dinner. There are supermarkets/ convenience stores just 2 - 5 mins walk, therefore you can easily buy your meal. You can't use the stove for safety reason. Pick-up at Haneda airport by car. 1person 14,000yen (one-way), 26,000yen(Round trip) Pick-up at Narita airport by car. 1person 23,000yen (one-way), 43,000yen (Round trip) let us know in advance.
