Jambo! I am single working professional living in a bungalow style home nestled at the foot of the Ngong hills (made famous in the movie "Out of Africa"), off Magadi road. I live in a safe, quiet, serene location; a gated community about 40 minute drive from the city center –Nairobi but still very close to public transportation (matatus and taxis). It's a peaceful area away from the hustle and bustle of the city but still close to Karen and the Bomas area (20 min drive) for shopping, restaurants and other cultural activities such as the Nairobi National Park, Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen museum and the Bomas of Kenya. If you enjoy the outdoors and seeing how different cultures live, we can hike the Ngong hills with breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley and you can also discover more about the Maasai culture as they are the largest community in my area. Despite my work, I can make time to show you around. I truly believe this heart of mine was meant to travel the world! There is nothing like it. Everyday is a school day, there is so much to learn so many people to meet and so much to discover. I believe my exposure to different cultures over the years has made me the person that I am today and I am better off because of it. I consider myself to be a friendly, down to earth individual who loves to meet new people. I lOVE TO lAUGH! ITS THE BEST CURE!!! My facilities can cater to singles, couples, students, working professionals, volunteers and travelers. You name it, I accommodate you. I am an avid traveler and I enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I am a great base for travelers stopping over on their way for a safari or on their way home at the end of a safari. I have 2 fully furnished rooms with a shared bathroom. The rooms are private, clean and comfortable. You'll also get to taste my mother's great rice dish (Pilau) :D
