Hello there! Namaste! We are the Theeng family. A family of six, our home is located in the heart of Boudha, a mere two minute walk from world famous Boudhanath Stupa. Boudha is just a 10-15 minute drive from the International/domestic airport and about same distance to the city center. This place will be perfect for you, if you love to get a taste of the local lifestyle, especially, more so; if your into Buddhist culture, as the place is dominated by monasteries and the World Heritage Site, Boudhanath, being just minutes away. Public transport is not a problem, as the local bus and micro services is right next to the stupa. The taxis and scooter taxi service called Tootle /Pathao (should download the app) will come to pick you up right at our doorstep, for utmost convenience. Shops and marts start literally as soon as you step out of our door, so, there is no problem buying your daily groceries or other items. If you feel like eating in a restaurant; there are a ton of varieties, ranging from Italian to Chinese and even a Vietnamese restaurant. Coffee shops are just as abundant. You will be glad to know that we will be happy to help with anything that you guys might need. The guy (Jay) of the house, is a real outdoor person, who loves to mountain bike, hike, go for treks and is mad about motorbikes, offroading and going on photography missions! Most of his friends are in the Travel and Tourism business so, he will love to help you guys plan a trip out if need be. He is also a NOlS certified first responder. If you want a place where you want to be at peace with yourself and left alone, no worries, we got you covered. If you are an outdoor lover and want to travel to beautiful places, no worries we got you covered. If you are a dog lover! No worries, we got you covered! If you are planning for a long stay, no worries we got you covered. We have another room at the top with a huge terrace and it's own kitchen. This will only be available after you have stayed with us and after we get to know you. If you love cooking, no worries we got you covered! Our kitchen is big enough to hold a party in itself.
