Authentic Cuban House in Cienfuegos, one block from Viazul Bus Station and a few minutes walk from the town centre. The house has one en-suit double bedroom on a ground floor and an apartment on the top floor with two double beds, a bathroom, small kitchen, and a terrace. The house also has a big garden with more than 100 plants, coffee beans, and trees of avocado, mamey, cherimoya, guava, bananas, and vegetables.

Bel soggiorno! proprietario simpatico e disponibile, peccato aver passato solo un giorno a cienfuegos, ci darebbe piaciuto conoscerla meglio! la casa è pulita, l'appartamento indipendente e ha un magnifico giardino!

Alejandro was a great host and let us feel welcome. We sleept in the room upstairs with a lovely balcony and the view of his beautiful green garden. We can absolutely recommend him and the place was central.

We had a wonderful time in Cienfuegos! The city is just beautiful and Alejandro is a great host (and he sings great and plays the guitar!) The upstairs apartment is really nice, with one sunny terrace and one overlooking the almost magical garden with huge avocado and guava trees and many different plants! The downstairs room, where we had to spend our first night (due to an overbooking) was not that great, as it doesn't have a window, but Alejandro really made it up for us! The location of the casa is also great, just 3 minutes walking from the bus station (even with a toddler and a suitcase). We really enjoyed every second of our stay!

Alejandro e' una persona adorabile e un'ottimo cuoco!!!! Siamo stati davvero benissimo! Vi consigliamo di cenare nel suo giardino, ricco di piante e un bel acquario! La stanza e' pulita, climatizzata e ben organizzata con bagno privato. Vi e' anche la possibilta' di lavare I vestiti. La casa si trova a 5minuti a piedi dal centro di Cienfuegos.

Room was fairly good, only fairly, the light in the bathroom was always on, regardless if you turn it on or off. The stairway to the room, for a fit person was unstable, made of iron rods, I have never seen one like it, I asked the host if I could use the water and soda cans in the refrigerator, which by the way did not have any sign that I would be charged 3 times of the cost at a market, and the worst part was that I had to accommodate my outings and returns at night to his. I was not given a key to get in or go out to luck the front door, only the one accessing to the room. Really I have travelled half or almost half, as I worked for 35 years in the airlines business and stayed at many places from Japan to Egypt, and all European countries, and I am not used to be in the situation I was. Only because it was 2 nights I stayed, but I found much, much better places. Thanks but no thanks, not again.

I was very comfortable being at the Casa de Alejandro. He was a warm. caring host. You would be very there. especially if you chose to eat on his comfortable patio. I would recommend his Casa if you have plans going to Cienfuegos. Mitchell
