The room is separated from the living room with a glass wall (it has a curtain on one side), so anytime anyone's in the living room talking or the light is on, it is quite impossible to sleep. On the bright side, the room is incredibly well-lit and there's plenty of sunshine; on the other side, since all the windows are in the room, the living room is very dark and the whole apartment looks quite dull. The kitchen is small, the washing machine does not dry clothes so they come out soaking wet. The neighborhood is lovely, there are a lot of shops (24-hour-open Carrefour is just a five-minute walk away), bakeries, a gym, cool parks, plenty of bus stops and a metro station. It is quite far from the city center, but because of it feels very safe and it is quiet at night. We also ended up paying almost twice as much for utilities and I don't really know how that came about.
