I am Durga and my house is 1 km far from lakeside. I am 45 and my wife Sita is 42 and she loves cooking. I have 2 sons and a daughter. They love to play football and my younger son loves cycling too. The rooms are well furnished. You can have a wonderful view of Himalayas form the rooftop and from also the windows of the rooms. We have a balcony where you can enjoy reading. The surrounding is peaceful. We have 24 hrs Wi-Fi services and also 24 hrs running cold and hot water. We can arrange you flights, trekking, rafting, bungee jump, and trips around Pokhara on your request. Since, the house is family run you can learn a lot more about Nepalese culture and tradition. We would always love you to get involved in our festivals and rituals. Moreover, it would be easy for you to adapt in new place. likewise you can learn Nepali(language most Nepalese speak) from the host family.

I honestly cannot recommend this homestay enough - 5 stars! Durga and his beautiful family welcomed us in to their home as one of their own. They were so helpful, so kind and incredibly knowledgable about the area too - they helped us create the - perfect - itinerary for our stay in Pokhara. We visited the school they work in on top of a - beautiful - mountain, we walked with them, we visited an orphanage, the list is endless! They also helped with our transportation and organisation and stayed in contact with me throughout. The family are also situated a 20 minute walk from Lakeside, so we had plenty of choice for food and entertainment in the evenings too. Durga and his family are possibly some of the kindest, warmest and sweetest people I have met so far in my travels and I can’t thank them enough for such a beautiful stay. Lovely beds, plenty of space, clean blankets, good food and great showers too - we will be back! Natalia
