Om Shanti is a peaceful house in a leafy South Dublin suburb within easy reach of Wicklow, also called the garden of Ireland. From our front door we can see both the sea and the mountain. Tucked in a quiet residential estate, our home is the ideal place to rest after a busy day working, studying or sightseeing. Our four bedrooms detached house is only 3 minutes drive from the M50, a couple minutes walk from the bus stop and about 15 min walk to the luas, a light rail service leading you in the heart of Dublin within 20 min. We have a large kitchen com dining room and a separate sitting room, beautiful front and back garden with a water feature and a garden room. We have a friendly cat who is very welcoming to our house guests. Within 15 min drive you can be on the beach, at the mountain or in Dublin City Center. As a guest you will have access to in house yoga and holistic therapies. Ideally, you are quiet, positive, have an interest in healthy living and looking for somewhere quiet to relax after a long day at work or college. Sharing space with like minded people enriches the experience. Meals are not included. They can be organised at extra cost by mutual agreement. Though I can provide meat dishes, my passion is in vegetarian/vegan cooking and I am comfortable cooking for those who have an intolerance to lactose or gluten. With regard to transport, bus 44 is 2 min walk and goes into city center through Dundrum and Ranelagh, Parnell Street and all the way to Drumcondra and in the other direction all the way to Enniskerry a beautiful village and great walks. The bus stop is St Mary's Church Sandyford Village. The nearest luas stops are Glencairn or Kilmacud on the Green line. There is also bus 114 within 4 min walk on the Sandyford road, bus 47 which goes to UCD within 15 min walk and bus 11 also 15 min walk. With regard to shops we have a greengrocer in Sandyford Village, 2 min walk from the house, a garage and newsagent with 10 min walk. Dundrum shopping centre is on the 44 bus route or 20 min walk with a multitude if shops coffee shops, restaurants, and cinema. Just past the Dundrum Town centre there are several banks and the older shopping center with lidl and Dealz. Heading in the other direction using a shortcut at the petrol station you can find Supervalu, Dunnes stores and just a little further Aldi. There is a cycling path all the way to UCD and free parking in front of the house. We ask residents and visitors to remove their shoes when coming in. To ensure a good night sleep we ask our guests to refrain from making noise between 10 pm and 7 am. Kitchen facilities can be accessed at agreed times.
