Welcome to our home in Havana, an authentic Colonial House from 1883 full of history and charm. Our home has a beautiful and preserved colonial structure from the late 19th century, the result of a Spanish immigrant's passion for our land. High ceilings made of precious wood, large windows that allow ventilation and lighting throughout the house and beautiful creations of colonial bars are ample examples of bygone eras but preserved despite the time that you can enjoy in our hostel. Over the years the house has been an inspiration for musicians and artists, in the 90s a film about a famous Cuban quartet â€œlos Zafiros, locancia azulâ€ was filmed in the house. For the comfort of our guests, we have two large living rooms, a balcony and a central patio that can be used by our smoking clients to enjoy a Cuban cigar (tobacco), make new friends and share impressions of the island with other travelers or our own family. Miriam and Gerardo are a retired couple, she is a librarian and he is an engineer, who dedicate their retirement years to the comfort and well-being of visitors, offering a deep knowledge of the city and the island in general. They offer free WIFI!!!

My family and I really liked to stay at Miriam's house, we didn't met her, just her sister Alba, who was very kind and help us with some directions and great locations around the city. The location was great, close to great restaurants in Centro Havana, Malecón, and 10-15 minutes walk to Habana Vieja!

Todo fue muy bueno, solo el desayuno.. La fruta cuesta muy poco, hubieras dado mas fruta.. fue muy poco por 5CUC incluyido.

Une superbe expérience !!! Nous avons été plongées dans le cœur de La Havane ! Une très charmante casa , très typique pour un séjour authentique ! La chambre nous a apporté le confort nécessaire et les petits déjeuners étaient très bons et variés ! Les hôtes ont été d’une gentillesse et d’une bienveillance que nous ne n’oublierons pas !! Je recommande cette casa pour le rapport qualité prix , sa localisation , ainsi que le charme qu’elle offre... maison coloniale très ancienne et très belle ! Très bon choix !

Even though I became ill during my stay at Miriam's her staff was wonderful and helpful. The place is beautiful, the rooms well equipped and clean. It was close to 'Old Havana' and a wonderful restaurant close by - San Cristobal Paladar. I highly recommend Miriam's place to stay.

Disfrutamos de la casa de Miriam 4 noches que estuvimos en la Habana.La casa es muy bonita y agradable y el desayuno que ofrecen es muy completo. Personalmente creo que la localización es muy buena ya que se encuentra en Habana Centro, menos turística que la Habana Vieja pero, igualmente se puede ir caminando a la zona. También queda cerca de Vedado (se puede llegar al hotel Nacional caminando por el Malecón) y el callejón e Hamel. Las habitaciones son amplias y cuentan con aire acondicionado.El precio es correcto. El servicio es muy agradable, les doy las gracias especialmente a Alba, que nos facilitó mucho la estancia y a Luna, que es una gran mujer, muy agradable y se preocupa mucho por los huéspedes, sólo por ellas ya merece la pena visitar la casa.
