We have a lovely family home in Stoneleigh, a wonderful part of Surrey. It is quiet and a very safe environment with local shops,restaurants and a variety of beautiful parks all within walking distance. We specialise in offering an English speaking family home in a clean, warm and friendly environment. We have been hosting for over 8 years and we really enjoy talking with our guests and sharing knowledge about the local area and how to get around. Me and my wife live in a 4 bedroom home with a large lounge complete with a 6 seater dining room table, large separate kitchen complete with a 4 seater breakfast table, downstairs toilet / hand basin and a large garden. Upstairs we have 4 bedrooms two (2) are guest rooms both can accommodate up to 3 people comfortably, 1 which over looks the rear Garden and has 3 single beds or a double bed & a single bed. The other room with a double bed (can also include a single bed if required) so 2 rooms can accommodate a couple with child, 1 of the rooms ( Double ) looks over front of the house. Please note : All our rooms are also offered on a single occupancy basis so you would not share the room with any other guest during your stay with us. No Dogs allowed. 1) Carbon Monoxide Unit fitted in Kitchen (Near boiler) 2) Smoke Alarms Fitted on Each Floor. The Hosts own bedroom has an ensuite with toilet, there is a separate bathroom with over head shower and hand basin (for guests only). There are 2 toilets 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs both are independent of the bathroom and both are used for guests only. Our family consists of 4 children all adults now and all live away from home. We have 7 grand children. Our home is just 2 minute walk from Stoneleigh Station which is a direct link into Wimbledon in just 15 minutes and london Waterloo in just 30 minutes. Waterloo station is said to be the busiest station not only in England but in all the worlds countries, the number of visitors to Waterloo station is around 100,000000 per annum. No doubt the most common reason for tourists visiting Waterloo Station is because it is the centre of london were you will find that it is central to most of londons main attractions. Take a look at just a couple of the attractions that Waterloo and its surrounding areas have to offer during your stay in london, by looking at our home page and the photographs that we have attached. Note: Stoneleigh Station accepts Oyster cards & is in Zone 5 Morden Underground station is just a 20 minute bus ride via a 293 bus & an 8 minute walk to the bus stop from our home. Morden train station is a direct link into the city & most underground trains run a 24 hour service. Although we are nearer to Gatwick Airport just a 40 minute taxi ride away, there is a route from Heathrow Airport via bus x26 at Hearthow bus central, the journey does take 60 minutes (Bus takes a wonderful scenic route via london) and is just 6 stops the fare is very cheap at just £1.50 (Prices as of 2018) each way per person, when you get off the bus at Worcester park just hop on the train from Worcester Park station to Stoneleigh Broadway station and we are just a 1 minute walk from the station cost is under £3 for a single adult. Note: The x26 accepts Oyster card & contactless Note: Does not accept cash. From Gatwick Airport to our home, take the 460 metro bus to Epsom clock tower (Cost just under £6) & then 3 minute walk to Epsom Station. From Epsom Station catch a train to Stoneleigh which is just 1 stop ( Cost just under £3) Note: The 460 bus does not accept Oyster card. Total journey time around 2 hours approximately. You can also catch a train from Gatwick Airport to Clapham Juction, change at Clapham Junction and catch a train to Stoneleigh, total journey time around 1 hour excluding transfers. The total cost from Gatwick Airport train station to Stoneleigh Station costs £8.30 (Off peak only) on a single journey by Oyster card or contactless only (Including public Holidays).....Off Peak 09:30 to 16:00 and from 19.00 to 06:30 Contactless ....... Peak costs £12.00 Monday to Friday from 0630 Oyster................. to 0930 and from 1600 to 1900. We are also close to local amenities i.e. local library, takeaways, restaurants, local pub (across the road) hair dressers, barbers, post office etc all within 2 minute walk. Once the booking is confirmed, the host will contact you to arrange the balance of your stay to be paid 10 working days before arrival (Payment by international bank transfer at the guests expense) cash on arrival can be agreed under certain circumstance but must be agreed in advance by us your hosts. Please note: Failer to pay the balance of your stay or agreed amount by the due date i.e. 10 (Ten) Working days before arrival may result in your room or rooms being cancelled by us your hosts at no cost or liability. Guests must confirm to the hosts when the bank transfer is completed so that when the transfer has been received by us the hosts we can confirm receipt to the Guests by text or e-mail. Note: Failure to comply with this directive as well as any errors in transfer amount may result in your accommodation being cancelled again at no liability to us your hosts. Please note there is no refunds on rates charged once payment has been made. The hosts reserve the right to enter the rooms to change bed lining (usually every 4 days or as required by the guest) also to empty bins, tidy room and Hoover the room as required all at no extra cost to our guests i.e. Free of charge. Guests can use all the facilities that the host has to offer during their stay at no charge i.e. Kitchen facilities, washing machine, drier, iron, ironing board, bicycles etc but please note that the hosts does not accept any responsibility for the damage / injuries caused by the use of these white goods etc however caused this remains the responsibility of the guests. Guests can use bicycles kept in our garage if they so wish but it is the guests responsibility to ensure the bicycles are in road worthy condition before use and whilst being used by the guest or guests the bicycles should be maintained in road worthy condition at the full expense or cost to the guests, bicycles are loaned at no charge. Guests can park their cars on off street parking i.e. Our own driveway, which can be provided at vehicle owners risk, (Please note) Guest must confirm the need for parking during their stay NOTE: “BEFORE THEY BOOK” so we can check availability. len & Sandy will not accept liability for any lose or damage to cars parked on their driveway what so ever or that parking can be facilitated during guests stay without first consulting if parking will be available. It is strictly forbidden for our guests to use our (the hosts) address/details for any personnel use or any reason what so ever except at the written consent of the hosts and is usually limited to visa applications, were the guest or guests may need an address in which to advise where they are staying. These terms & conditions can be altered or updated at anytime without prior notice to our guests. All our guests automatically accepts these terms & conditions once a deposit or payment is made in reservation of accommodation at the hosts home.
