La posizione della camera è molto strategica, si arriva a piedi quasi ovunque. La camera era pulita. L'unico problema è che si trova vicino ad una strada molto trafficata, quindi la camera è rumorosa.

Un appartement avec une âme très bien situé proche de 2stations de métro. Un accueil charmant de la mère et du père de Roger. Appartement propre. Bémol sur la petite taille de la salle de bain WC et chambres un peu exposées au bruit de la rue...

Arrival and check in went a little clumsy since we stayed with a different host than Roger (not sure whether we didn't quite understand that) not finding out what flat to ring in until after arriving. But apartment was big, comfortable and old-building-in-old-city charm in good location in the city. (Only enduring frustration was seldom having more than lukewarm shower water, occasionally cold.) Our hosts were largely absent yet very welcoming and kind.

I spend 8 nights in this apartment. I would recommend the place because it is centrally located, because the communication with Roger before my arrival was very good, because my bedroom was big and because Pilar is extremely nice. On the other hand, do not expect to experience a "family stay", it is much like a bed and breakfast without breakfast, without a place to gather and talk or watch TV. The description made on the website does not correspond to the reality. There is no regular room cleaning at all and no pick up service available. No one proposed me to use the washing machine and I do not even know where it was. The bathroom is extremely dirty, I would even say squalid (shower curtain very very dirty and tiles joints black of mould, a layer of dust on the lamp). The sink was dirty with hair (possibly nose hair) when I arrived and remained dirty until the day I left (8 days later). There is no hairdryer in the bathroom, the walls are half painted. The landlady proposed me to use the fridge (not really clean neither) in the kitchen (also very old and dark). If you decide to go, ask the landlord to send you a picture of the bathroom (it might decide them to renovate the thing).

We spent 4 days in the home of the lovely Sunyer family. The apartment was perfectly situated, clean and very central, a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro, and 10 minutes to a very central one. Lovely hosts, there if you needed them, but also happy to let you get on with it. Should we return to Barcelona, we would definately want to stay there again :) Mark and Tan
