Warm welcome to "PAlAKAl RESIDENCY", a Diamond classified Homestay by Dept. of Tourism, Govt. of Kerala. We are very happy to offer our own home as your own Home in Cochin Kerala India. Our House is near the back waters of Cochin south. A Kerala and Gujarat style bungalow with Garden in front. All four Rooms are Air conditioned and attached bath, One Drawing room with TV and Sofa sets, Sit out with Swing, Kitchen with Dinning in 1st floor. Entrance from outside. Me and My Wife lissy live in Ground floor & our only son is in Australia. Free Wifi is available.

Ich wohne bei Lissy und Antony Homestay in Cochin ,Kerala,India. Ich bin mit dieser Unterkunft bei dieser Gastfamilie sehr zufrieden,bestens. Das Schlafzimmer ist sehr geraemig,mit Aircondischen und Ventilator es ist ein grosser Balkon mit Haengebett vorhanden.Dieses Haus befindet sich in einem tropischen Umfeld,einfach erholsam,trotzdem ist die Entfernung zur Innenstadt sehr kurz,und ca.in 10 Min mit dem Tuktuk zu erreichen. Auch Lissys Kueche ist sehr schmackhaft und reichlich,auch fuer uns Europaeer,geeignet. Wenn es von der Zeit moeglich ist,werde ich diese Gastfamilie naechstes Jahr wieder aufsuchen. Dies war unsere erste und bei weitem auch beste Unterkunft in Kerala. Lissy und Antony waren wunderbare freundliche Gastgeber und haben uns sehr geholfen. Antony hat uns zum "Judenviertel" gefahren und zum Bus nach Alleppey gebracht. Lizzy hat phantastisch gekocht - wirklich das Beste, was wir im Urlaub gegessen haben. Sehr reichlich und abwechslungsreich. Das Zimmer war geräumig, das Bad sehr groß und alles sehr sauber und gut gepflegt. Das Beste war die Terrasse mit dem tollen Hängebett: Trotz zentraler Lage war es ringsrum grün und es waren sehr viele Vögel zu hören. Außer dass es unsere schönste Unterkunft war, war es auch unsere preisgünstigste. Wir können dieses homestay bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen und würden sofort wieder dort wohnen.

The best place to stay in Kerala! We were lucky to find this place, a nice house with a fantastic garden and environment, coconut palms, banana plants, orchidees and anything that was needed for Lizzys wonderful cooking. All activities and tour trips we wanted to do, Anthony and Lizzy arranged for us, like elephant camp and riding, backwater tours, temple and church we visited, museums, trips to Fort Cuchin, ayurveda massage, visit to Ayurveda clinic, study visits to school and hospital.... and a lot more. We had booked 4 nights. We stayed for 8 days, until we had to leave to go home to Sweden.
