We would love to welcome you to our home in Donabate. Our home is 25 minutes from Dublin City Centre, by car or by train. The train station is a 3-minute walk from our home. Donabate is a lovely area, with a picturesque beach only a 15 minute walk away and a beautiful park less than a 5 minute walk from our home. We have one single room available. Additional Info: The room rate includes the following services: regular room cleaning, and wifi access. Even though I just stayed for 2 weeks, I got precious, unforgettable memories of doing a homestay. I can never forget the moment Gertie kindly welcomed me with her warm-hearted when I arrived right in front of their house. Thanks to Gertie and Larry, I was able to quickly adapt to a foreign land while being comfortable. They were really like my mam and dad. I really appreciate they think of me as their daughter. I never ever forget my moments talking with them in the evenings. I believe these are still vividly living in my mind in the future. It's a shame that I didn't stay for more days.

Staying with Gertie and Larry was a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel right at home with their warm hospitality. They were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, always ensuring that I had everything I needed and was comfortable during my stay. The hospitality extended beyond just providing a comfortable place to stay. Gertie cooked delicious meals, and we had many interesting conversations over tea and biscuits. Overall, I had an unforgettable stay with this Gertie and Larry. They made me feel like part of the family and provided a wonderful cultural experience I will always cherish. I highly recommend staying with them to anyone.

Gertie and Larry are amazing hosts! I really enjoyed the stay at their cozy home. The room is so cute and the bed was so comfortable. Gertie provided my favorite soda bread and Irish butter.. and Wheat Bisks.... yummy. It was extremely convenient to walk to Donabate train station... less than 3 minutes only. It is about 25 mins train ride to the main Connolly Train Station in Dublin. They are genuinely kind, lovely, friendly and easy going. We had many wonderful conversations, and I learned about Ireland history, politics, and healthcare. The highlight of my visit to Ireland was staying at Gertie and Larry's Home. I love the experience so much that I will stay at their home next time when I return to Ireland. It is HOME away from home. It is not just the convenience of the location but the people that made the experience unforgettable! I highly recommend Gertie's home to all <3 See you soon Gertie and Larry!!! :)

Sorry for late Gertie!! Gertie made my trip to ireland perfect. I feel safe in her house and Gertie&Larry did everting to me. Room was cozy and warm. House is very close to park and train station.
