We live on a quiet road close to all amenities. There are two parks within a 2 or 3 minute walk and both the University of Plymouth and the city centre are only a 10 or 15 minute walk away. My name is Bev. I love languages and I also enjoy cooking, watching movies, music, gigs, festivals, reading, travel, nature, and board games My partner's name is Dan. He enjoys cooking, watching movies, music, gigs, festivals, reading, travel, learning foreign languages, and nature. He also loves playing guitar. We have 2 dogs that are very friendly and love having visitors. However, please do not worry if you are not an animal lover - they are not allowed upstairs and they should not disturb you if you prefer to be left alone. We want our guests to feel as comfortable as possible. We do not mind if you prefer to keep to yourself. Equally, we are more than happy to share our evenings (and mealtimes) with you. The choice is yours. Additional Info: Guests are welcome to share our evening meal with us. The room rate includes the following services: washing machine usage and internet access. If you are arriving at Plymouth coach station or train station at a reasonable hour and would like to be picked up, please let me know - I am happy to do that if I am available.

I had the best time with Bev and Dan. They always cooked delicious meals and made everything to make their guests feel comfortable. Because of Bev, Dan, Lily and Barney, Plymouth became a second home to me. They are the best hosts one could ever wish for. I felt immediately very well in their homey house, lovely welcome. Bev and Dan treated me as a friend, not as a guest. I stayed two weeks with them, to develop my English. Bev was a good English-teacher. Both were good cook and the best hosts ever. They're great generous and we did a lot of trips. I would definitely stay here and have already recommended it to my friends. Thank you, Bev and Dan!

I found my Hosts Beverley and Dan professional, caring and most generous. Beverley contacted me well in advance to make sure I arrived safely and all possible needs were met. My hosts were kind, genuine and inclusive. The atmosphere is relaxed and homey; location is central yet quiet and ideal for access to transport. Appropriate for professionals, students, general visitors or, (in my case), people relocating and seeking housing. I recommend my Hosts most highly.
