My name is Saide, your hostess, and my house is 5 km from the center of Merida. I have a very comfortable room with my own bathroom available to accommodate guests. The guest has access to the kitchen. You can enjoy coffee or tea freely and we can agree on the rich breakfast each morning. My guest also has access to the TV room, dining room, patio and pool. As hosts, we are open to talk and share experiences if we have the time and the guest wishes. My family and I like to socialize, watch movies, music, sports, attend concerts, festivals, go on a trip, watch TV and play board games. English and Spanish spoken.

I had a wonderful stay with Saide and her family! She was so welcoming, hospitable, sweet, kind and helpful. She made herself available to me to ask questions and made recommendations on things I would enjoy doing in Merida. We exchanged numbers as soon as I got there and she said at anytime I could reach out to her if I had questions, got lost or needed anything at all! As soon as I messaged her, she would respond quickly to offer support, suggestions or to just check in. She also speaks English and can communicate with you if you are not able to speak in Spanish. Her family was also very kind and welcoming. She made my time in Merida that much more memorable and special. You will have a great experience staying with Saide!

Wow What can I say apart from absolutely fantastic!! Saide and her whole family were the nicest, kindest, most helpful family I could wish to meet and made me feel as if I was part of the family. From suggesting things to do and see in Mérida to simply sitting with the whole family watching Mexican Masterchef each Sunday with tacos and Tecate Light, everything was perfect. My room was great, cool and cleaned each week and I even had my own shelf in the fridge so I was able to cook my own food whenever I wanted. To be with a new family for nearly eight weeks might have been a challenge but the whole Selem family are the nicest people I could ever hope to meet and I cannot wait to return to Mérida and see them again. I gave my rating five stars but if I could I would have given 10 or 100 A perfect place, a perfect family, a perfect time Thank you all and I will see you all again very soon Ian Ward

The stay with Saide was everything I could wish for. She and her family are very friendly and the room has everything you need. The bus to the centro leaves right around the corner so it's really easy to be independent. I can totally recommend it!
