This was our first home stay we had such a memorable time Samson and his family welcomed us like part of the family from meeting us as we stepped off the bus to waving us off.to accommodate more privacy we moved into his sisters room which had adjoining bathroom.it is not western bathroom it is squat toilet and cold water buckets for washing but this is not a hotel it is authentic African living and you can not get a better or warmer feel than by staying with s local family and if my 63 year old mother can do it so can anyone :-) we got 3 meals a day which we gave extra money to help with the costs Samson took us all around Arusha and even to church on Sunday which was an unforgettable experience for us church in Africa is so cool a must try and everyone so welcoming to us!thank you Samson and to your lovely family for having us we hope to see you again one day!rebecca and Patricia from England
