Rathgar Cozy Private Double Room
Features: • Internet Access • laundry
We are in the heart of Dublin 6, a very safe and pleasant neighbourhood to live in. Near the city centre, universities, supermarkets, cinemas, restaurants etc. We are well served by public transport with direct bus links to city center, train stations and the airport. We can walk to the light rail train the luas in 10 minutes and the center of Dublin in about 35 minutes. We are near both universities, Trinity College and UCD. We are also near lovely parks and the river walk and we are a cycle or drive away to the Dublin hills or the sea. ( about 8 km) We renovated our victorian home to create two beautiful apartments each with their own private entrances. We live in the ground floor. The private double room we are offering, is on the first floor of the other two bedroom apartment. You will have a key to your own private room and front door keys. You have full use of the kitchen diner with a your own fridge . You share a bathroom. The fee for staying includes all household bills, and common areas of the apartment are cleaned on a fortnightly basis , so there are no hidden costs to you. Payment is by bank transfer . We rent on a minimum of 30 day basis only . If you stay for 3 months we can discuss a discount . The fee is paid by bank transfer with one weeks rent as deposit paid in advance, this is returned to you at the end of your stay. A little about ourselves. Our place is in very good condition. We love welcoming new people to Dublin and to our home. We are both retired , we love to walk, swim, cycle, we also love to meet friends and family, art and reading. We travel a lot. We have three grand children under four who visit at the weekends mainly. We are cooperative, respectful, quiet, clean and tidy people and non smokers. We would be hoping for a similar type of person to want to live here. If this is you, you will have your own private room , and entrance , an ample sized private bedroom with a wardrobe, two bedside lockers, an office desk and chair and a bookshelf. The shared kitchen has a small cooker/ microwave, a hob, an air fryer, and a washing machine,( you do not have a clothes dryer , there is a launderette across the street) a couch, a dining table and chairs and a TV . You will have your own private fridge. The shared bathroom has a shower and bath tub. Common areas such as the hall, stairs and landing and the bathroom and the kitchen floor will be cleaned every fortnight. We will supply you with two sets of bed linen, and two sets of towels. Our expectation is that you keep your personal possessions in your own room and that you keep common areas clean and tidy, empty bins and do not leave food out, so that we don't have to deal with any difficulties that this might cause.
