I bought this beautifully taken care of home in the midst of the Pandemic and am so beyond grateful to have taken root in such a great neighborhood. I'm 30 years of age in the Human Services Industry, and a SoCal transplant to the great PNW. Originally moved up to Eugene, Oregon for college and naturally ventured to the bigger city to connect with more people and experience all the city had to offer.You will be sharing the space with four friendly cats and my roommate of 7 years Sophia, who is also in Human Services. We keep to ourselves and maintain the cleanliness of the home and would love to share the home with anyone seeking a relaxing and friendly refuge. The neighborhood in which the home is located is in between to popular streets for restaurants, Foster street and Powell Blvd. It has perfect walkability to anything you might need including bus lines and grocery stores. Tall trees are framing most of the eclectic homes, each residence having its own charm and pride in their homes which make walking around the neighborhood seem magical as friendly dog-walkers pass you by. We are just 15 min to downtown and to the airport, walking distance to bars, restaurants and parks as well as just a few minutes drive to other popular neighborhoods. My Cozy and well taken care of 3 bedroom 2 bathroom ranch style house has a gated front and back yard. The space is nestled away, framed by the trees and entry way encased by a nice bamboo lined courtyard. As you open the door you're greeted by a warm environment with a big couch adorned with pillows and blankets in front of an exposed brick fireplace with a modern bookcase filled with treasures, games and crafts. Even when the house is tucked away the interior space is light and flows from one area to the next taking you into the dining area kitchen with simplistic design as the sunlight from the patio breathes into the space. A nice workstation or a place for home cooked meals or takeout with friends, the kitchen lends you any appliances or cooking gadget you may need. Through the sliding door you can find a covered patio with a table and chairs for morning coffee as you watch the neighborhood squirrels jumping along the fence and into the trees. Along the side of the house are raised beds which lead you along a gravel path to the back yard space and shed. Under an overhang you can gather around the fire pit or look up at the stars. Inside the home and down the hallway you will find your own personal oasis perpendicular to the well maintained shared bathroom. Once you enter the space, the need to flop onto the bed and look out the window or throughout the room is immediate. With the carefully purchased touches and textures to add to the overall homey feel, you are drawn to stay awhile and relax. The conveniences of storage space in the closet along with bedside table lamps and drawers with charging ports allow you to tuck your things away with peace of mind. The bathroom has plenty of space with a full tub with a rain shower head that you can enjoy under the light of the moon or the sky with the bathrooms skylight overhead. With all the amenities provided for you, all you need is yourself to enjoy this home with having all the comforts you could need at your fingertips.
