We (me, my 15.5 year old son and our very cute, if overly exuberant 12 pound [hypoallergenic] pup, Baxter) have the sweetest 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom Victorian house on the smack in the middle of the adorably quirky island of Alameda. It's a fully furnished house with a large sitting room, open kitchen, formal 10-seat dining room, dishwasher, wine cooler, washer/dryer, central heat, a Juliette balcony and a spacious backyard (currently covered in leaves from a tree that sounds like the ocean when the wind blows) with an irrigated vegetable garden box just waiting for a greener thumb than mine! The room itself is on the main floor (our two bedrooms are downstairs) and has fold-up Murphy bed and full-bathroom with a vintage sink and walk-in shower. There's a fancy little loveseat in there with feathers that are a little pokey.
