We are an international couple, American and Japanese, and love hosting people. We hope there are chances to do things with you, like BBQ, exploring new places, sharing food with each other, etc Explore all the wonders of Kansai from our centrally located guest room! A short walk to Japans' best-preserved Edo-era neighborhood - Imai-Cho and two stations with direct train access to Kyoto and Osaka. Also nearby: Japan's first capital, Asuka, within biking distance. This is a great base to explore while also being away from the tourist crowds. You'll have a private room, but common areas (bathroom, toilet kitchen) are shared spaces with host. Private room has two comfortable Japanese-style futon beds, a private office space with a sliding door, a TV, and a small table for enjoying meals. Plenty of space to store clothes, luggage, and other necessities. We also have a large garden, and we are happy to share fresh organic herbs and, depending what it in season, fruits and vegetables too. If the weather is good, we can go a BBQ in the garden! We're walking distance from Nara Medical University, and have hosted students doing programs there.
