Huge, sun-filled, private furnished room in a historic upper Manhattan building, steps from the Met Cloisters, an express A train station, and Inwood Hill Park. The room is 12' x 16' with high ceilings and picture frame molding, and comes furnished with a queen sized memory foam mattress and bed, a brand new full sized couch, a desk with a flip up vanity top, a flat screen tv with nearly all streaming channels, a chifferobe to store your clothes, and a hall closet for wardrobe overflow. The shared spaces include the bathroom, an oversized galley kitchen, and a small vestibule/dining room. We each have our own living room & study spaces inside our rooms rather than a shared living room so we can unwind, get work done etc. in privacy. You will be sharing with me, a friendly and quiet native New Yorker in her 30's, and my extremely friendly dog. She is animal reactive though, so no pets under any circumstances. I'll also ask you not to bring any meat or eggs into the house, but you are welcome to bring dairy, pre-made foods containing eggs like baked goods are fine, and anything plant based, and you will have full use of the kitchen. The building has an elevator - re: accessibility, there is a tiny step in front of the main entrance and a raised threshold at the entrance to the bedroom - if you need pictures or measurements, let me know. There is also a pay-to-use laundry room on the premises.
