I rent a cozy single bedroom in Pocitos Nuevo, one of the best residential neighborhoods in Montevideo. SPANISH ESSENTIAl. This is one of three bedrooms on the upper floor of a well-decorated Mediterranean-style family home. In addition to the bedrooms, the upper floor has a full bathroom shared with the other two guests and a living room with a refrigerator with freezer and cable TV and Netflix. All utilities (internet, electricity, heating and water) are included in the rent. We provide bed linen and towels. There is a washing machine for free use in the patio and weekly cleaning service (also included in the rent). Guests can use the kitchen as much as they want, at reasonable times and as long as they wash the utensils they use.The rent is paid upon delivery of the keys the first time, and the following times within the first 5 days of each month. The neighborhood is quiet and very safe, with frequent transportation in all directions (30 minutes to the Center or the Old City, 15 minutes to Parque Rodó and Punta Carretas). Pocitos Beach is a 10-minute walk away. Guests will find all the services they may need at the Montevideo Shopping Center, just 3 blocks from the house. Pets are not allowed, although there is a German Shepherd dog. My name is lorenzo, I am a retired businessman. My ex-wife and I have been renting rooms since our children grew up and became independent. We have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. We love having young people in the house. Although we are separated, we have an excellent relationship. I live in the house and take care of the guests on a daily basis, and she usually takes care of getting them, making reservations and, when necessary, receiving them.
