We live in a fairly large apartment, in a leafy suburb of Cape Town. We are stones throw from the mall and 10 min train ride to the ocean or the city , we are on the bus route and 5minutes from the train station.The apartment has three bedrooms, two of which are en-suite. Each room has it's own balcony one has beautiful views of Table Mountain. Arderne Gardens are a short walk away where you are able to just go and relax in a beautiful and safe setting. My husband and I live alone with our two dogs. The children live close by and visit from time to time. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen to prepare light meals.

Valerie is an excellent cook and her meals are relatively inexpensive. If you love dogs she has 4 cute ones!. The only negative I would point out is it is too far from City Centre. Public transport takes 45mins and is easy to access from Main Road. Generally great Hosts.

I spent almost 5 very memorable weeks with Valerie and Felix. I had lots of autonomy, a spacious bedroom and a magnificent view of the mountains. There was plenty of food for breakfast and Valerie graciously did my laundry! The location of the flat is in a beautiful neighbourhood and close to Kenilworth, Wynberg and a nice walk from the Kirstenbosch Garden. I do recommend evening meals with Valerie as she´s a fantastic cook!

I was there for 2 months as I made an internship in Cape Town (Westlake). I recomand this host family without a doubt! I really enjoyed my stay with them.
