SHARED lIVING (room & bath rental only): 2 furnished rooms for rent on our upper floor with private washroom, and shared living space. Delicious meals provided (3 per day, plus desserts!) PRIVATE lIVING (1000SF 2-BED SUITE): 2 bedrooms in a fully renovated and furnished suite w/modern and high end finishes, kitchen w/stainless appliances & equipment for cooking and dining, bathroom, living, dining area, and private access. ABOUT THE HOST: We are a young couple, currently with no children, but a small and friendly fur baby, Pearl. We have been hosting students for 5 years and enjoy the company, cultures, and relationships we make and maintain even beyond the stay! We are active, working professionals, with flexible schedules. We have a very chill home environment where rules aren't necessary as long as we respect one another and keep things tidy (I do the major cleaning). We love cooking all kinds of cuisine, trying new foods and recipes, and DESSERT! NEIGHBORHOOD & AMENITIES: We live in an active, quiet and safe neighborhood on Capital Hill in North Burnaby with the top rated views in the entire lower mainland — watch the sunsets with a backdrop of downtown, the ocean, Vancouver Island, and the snow capped mountains. located 10 minutes to SFU, 10 mins to BCIT, 25-30mins to downtown Vancouver, and a 5 min walk to Confederation Park & Community Ctr with a state of the art library, indoor pool & fitness, track & fields, tennis, ping pong, picnic areas and more (see our photo gallery). We are 2 short blocks (2 min walk) to Hastings St where you catch the R5 bus direct to downtown Vancouver in 35 mins! All our homestay rooms include furnishings: - delicious, well rounded meals - 3 per day plus dessert! (lower rate can be negotiated for no meals) - bed, fresh linens - desk, lamp - bedside table - closet w/organizer - clothes dresser - Wifi - private bathroom (upper level rooms) - tub/shower w/modern fixtures and finishes - full access to new HE laundry machines (machines on each level, all detergent provided) - private suite is fully furnished and equipped for cooking, dining and chilling on couch with Netflix! $500 refundable deposit required for longer than 1 month bookings.
