we live in a quiet suburb close to the CBD of Brisbane within walking distance to shops, bus stops and parks. Our brick house has 5 bedrooms, aircon , a piano and a cozy fireplace for cool nights. A large spacious patio with a BBQ overlooks the garden. I love cooking and gardening and we have daily fresh eggs from our 4 chickens. Andrew is a keen surfer and motorsport enthusiast. He will love to take you to an Aussie rugby game.

I recently had the pleasure of staying with Yvonne and Andrew, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience! From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality of the hosts made me feel right at home. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to nearby attractions. Yvonne and Andrew were such great hosts! Very welcoming/fun/interesting/well-traveled family, beautiful home and grounds. We were even gifted eggs from the chooks and honey from the bees! We could walk to parks, playgrounds, public transit, huge shopping center. Bonus that transit was only $.50 a ride anywhere/any zone! Couldn't recommend this homestay enough.

Absolutely an amazing hostess with a lovely home. Yvonne and her family are very open and welcoming. They took us sailing, surfing, and sightseeing around Brisbane. A fantastic place to start or continue your holiday/studies. Can definitely recommend Yvonne as a hostess.
