Three rooms in spacious 5 bedroom Costa Mesa house, 2 full modern bathrooms, and kitchen, large open lounge and dining areas, fully furnished with furniture, Internet, High Definition widescreen smart TV, and a large double garage and storage areas. The house comes with a beautiful patio, BBQ, garden, and fruit trees. The bedrooms are of good sizes (150 sq. ft plus). You are sharing with a family of four. Husband and wife are 40 years old environmental and financial professionals and two kids 15 and 12 years old who go to school every day and in bed by 8.30 pm. House is quiet and in a safe, friendly, and beautiful neighborhood, 2 minutes walk to bus stops, 5 minutes to shops, 10-15 minutes drive to Newport Beach to Huntington Beach, and immediate access to freeways (1-minute drive and you are on the freeway), South Coast Plaza, Fountain Valley, Westminster, Santa Ana, Irvine are close by. It is within walking distance to Orange Coast College, Whittier law School, National University, The Art Institute, a short bicycle ride to Vanguard University, and 10-minute drive to UC Irvine. There are frequent buses to Newport Beach and South Coast Plaza and John Wayne Airport nearby. We look for guests who: - Are not smokers/ users of any drugs/prescribed chronic medications - Are quiet, responsible, clean, and respectful. - Have no pets - Acceptable to sharing two bathrooms. Guests need to provide copies of their passport/driver's licence and verifiable references.

Their house is situated in a nice and serene place so going there after a busy day was very calming. The family too was approachable and attentive to our needs even though we didn't have a chane to engage in long conversation with them since both of us were busy. But in sum, I recommend this place to those who are looking for a nice house and room to stay in Irvine. But if you're going to rent the Sun Room, I recommend that you clarify it first with them if the posted price already includes both double beds, not just one because in our case we had to pay an extra fee for the other bed.

I had a very enjoyable time staying with Rowan and Tho. They are very nice people and their children are well-behaved. Their schedule is quite busy and they are gone often, but if you needed anything they always took care of it.

I stayed over for about 2 weeks at this place. Nicely furnitured, clean bathroom, and a clean kitchen that was easily accessible to cook. As a college student, it was a good cost efficient choice to stay here considering the convenience, accessibility, and the location. It is a family who is the host, a very welcoming and friendly couple with two kids. Despite the kids' ages, they were really cute, polite, and quiet at home. Convenience wise, they have a cleaner lady who comes to clean the room for you if you stay here for a certain period of time, and willing to let her clean. The location here was close to many highly rated restaurants on yelp, and about only a mile distance to a huge South Coast Plaza mall. Having a good kitchen, enough space in the refrigerator, and a lot of utencils and dishes made it really easy for me to cook.

Located in quiet and safe area. Have nice clean rooms for single or couple with a comfortable bed. It takes only 5 minutes by walk to supermarket, restaurants and the bus stop that goes to New Port Beach. The host family is very helpful and open to different cultures, so nice to talk with. There might be other stayers as they have 3 guest rooms but the family seems to accept decent people only, so you won't be disturbed or feel uncomfortable because of that. If you are visiting or staying near the area for study or sight seeing(mostly for staying at beach), I recommend the stay at this family.
