We are located in the centre of Vedado on a quiet, wide street with many shops and points of interest within walking distance. Transportation is readily available only two blocks away, as well as private taxis can be organized for very reasonable prices. My wife, laly, and I live in an apartment on the same property that is separate from the rental rooms and the common-space. We have two Cuban street dogs that we have rescued who are very friendly and love to meet new people. The dogs stay in our apartment and are not allowed in the guest area. Each bedroom is independent with its own private bathroom. The living room and balcony are shared with other guests. The terrace is large and airy offering a city-scape view of Vedado and gorgeous sunsets! The home was built in the 1940s in a colonial style with high ceilings and mosaic tile floors. Updated with modern en-suite bathrooms for every room, our home offers the charm and ambience of all that is Cuba with the modern comforts of home. We offer free wifi to all our guests! I am a native English speaker, Canadian-born, and laly speaks English very well. Of course, we both speak Spanish fluently.
