Amazing cafe 1 min walk away Full use of the kitchen I am a 42 year female and I have my kids (2 boys aged 6 & 9) 50% of the time. I am a working professional, I work for the government. I am friendly, caring, fun, and social. My place is quiet, safe and warm, and modern. I have a lovely sunny deck with new outdoor furniture. The room is away from the living areas and it comes with its own private bathroom. My mum stays most Thursdays to help with childcare while I am at work and my partner stays 1-2 times per week and I stay at his house sometimes too. Please note I have a washing machine but I do not have a dryer, however I have a covered sunny spot outside to dry your clothes and there is a laundry place 5 mins walk away if you want to use a clothes dryer.

I stayed at Emma-Jane for 5 months. She welcomed me with open arms and in the most wonderful way. I had an absolutely wonderful time in her home and with her family, who became more and more like my own. I couldn't have found a better room to stay in during my trip to this beautiful country. Emma is a good listener, always ready to help, cheerful, affectionate and respectful. She treated me like a member of her family, which is the nicest thing about staying with someone. I absolutely recommend her house which is very pretty and very well equipped, the bedroom and bathroom are spacious and just like the photos. The location is perfect with bus stops nearby for easy access to the CBD, if you don’t have a driver license like me.On top of that she has two wonderful, intelligent, funny and affectionate children who make this house all the more welcoming, as well as Charlotte the cat who loves to cuddle. I'm going to miss this house and this family very much, and if I ever come back to New Zealand I'll go back to them without hesitation!

Emma is a wonderful host, kind, attentive and always ready to help. I had an excellent stay with her, her children (present half the time) and Charlotte, the cat. The house is modern, clean, well-equipped and located in a pleasant & peaceful area, close to all amenities (bus and shops). The bedroom is spacious and the bed ultra-comfortable. I recommend this accommodation, and won't hesitate to come back if I'm ever in Auckland again.
