The room comes with a work desk, comfortable chair, nice wall-hung artwork, and sizeable wardrobe space. 5-min walk to Edmonds skytrain metro station in Burnaby (just two stops from famous mega shopping center Metrotown). Fully furnished. Unlimited high-speed fibre internet, utilities, laundry/dryer all included. Right beside a big park, refreshing and pleasant ambiance, the room is very quiet too. 5-min walk to a fair-sized grocery store where daily food items can be easily found at good prices. 10-min walk to HighGate shopping complex (including Save-On-Foods big supermarket, Starbucks, Subway, MacD, Burger King, Pizzas, Fitness/Yoga, Shoppers Drug Mart, and all banks). 5-min walk to Byrne Creek hiking path, picnic ground, and tennis courts (see photos), a very popular venue for outdoor activities. Layton's home is a solid place to stay with close proximity to various stores, restaurants, a park for hiking, and public transport. The house itself is maintained well, making for a comfortable accommodation. And of course, Layton is a very welcoming host who has been very helpful for me in settling down in Burnaby.

Basically, I like all things this place has to offer. As an outdoor person, I got to enjoy the creek hiking venue nearby so much. Layton is a guy of great personality and I felt very relaxed at his house. I even learned some quick French from him, haha…definitely would like to come back for future stays.

For sure, I very much enjoyed the quiet room and the location. The house is kept very clean and I had my own private toilet, making my stay even more enjoyable. Both metro station and a Korean grocery store are only 5-minute walk away, an immense convenience for me…Layton is by nature a very nice and caring host who made me feel welcomed right from the first moment. A wonderful stay… highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable time in Vancouver! !
