Welcome to our home. This large private room is nestled on the second floor with it's own walk- in closet and full bathroom. The room comes fully furnished with a Television, WiFi, mini-fridge, microwave, and small coffee maker and a pub table. Enjoy the extra perks of having a portable AC/Heater with remote control and an air purifier for that extra comfort. We are located near a commuter rail with a 5 minute drop off to restaurants and shops at the Domain or Downtown Austin so you can avoid the traffic. The neighborhood also has sidewalks and bike lanes to allow for safe walking or bicycle to nearby eats and shopping. The area is increasing in popularity due to the development the Q2 professional soccer stadium and major employers like Dell, Amazon and Facebook and Apple. We are a bilingual family, English/Spanish with a small dog. Outside of work we keep ourselves busy by spending time with extended family, cooking, attending community events, watching sports, and attending Sunday service. We look forward to hosting you!

I wasn't able to stay at Monica's a few months back, because of a change in plans, so I had to cancel my reservation. She was kind and helpful.

Monica is a fantastic host. The room I stayed in has a big space with a private bathroom, with a minifrigde and a microwave. Also a smart TV and wifi. The location is wonderful, walking by 10 min you can get public transportation or take the mono rail. There are also nearby a lot of restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. Her dog Gary is a very sweet boy and loves to be petted. I totally recommend staying with her if you are visiting Austin.

Large clean comfortable newly renovated contemporary room with big walk in closet and bath. Easy access to room. Convoluted street neighborhood. But opens up to nicely placed corner house. Close to main highways and Arboretum and Domain areas. Fair price. Easy timely communication by text.

Excellent experience! The place is private, spacious, and affordable. Monica and her partner are incredibly kind and welcoming: they let me use their kitchen, laundry facilities, and small home gym. Plus, they have an excited little pup who loves belly rubs! This is a wonderful listing that I was very fortunate to come across.

I stayed at Monica’s home for 10 days and it was really comfortable and great. Monica and her husband JC are so nice and friendly. They took me to Muller Park, Mount Bonnell and Oasis Texas Brewing Company on Saturday. It was the best day I’ve ever had in Austin. Thank you Monica and JC for showing around the most beautiful places in Austin?? The room is on the second floor and I could stay the huge room and private bathroom alone! It was really comfortable to stay for a long time. Also, everything is clean and tidy for sure! I wish I could stay there while I’m in Austin ... Unfortunately, i have to leave because I already signed a contract with a dorm. If you are thinking staying in Austin for a long time, Monica’s place is the best choice for you. There is an adorable cat named Chiki in Monica’s home as well. She is so cute and friendly. You will definitely fall in love with love with her. I’m so happy to meet such a nice person like Monica and JC in Austin. I miss you guys and Chiki.
