The Tropical House in Hikkaduwa "Mille" is a historic place that I found 35 years ago on my honeymoon. At that time it was a small guesthouse in a more than enchanted place, near the "Hippybeach Hikkaduwa". Wherever I and my family traveled the world, we have always wanted to return to this romantic and very relaxed place. Since 2012 we are allowed to call this dream our own. We have lovingly restored the house and its surroundings for 5 years. After completing our professional life, we spend most of the year in a tropical garden where colorful birds of paradise and friendly animals, such as monkeys and iguanas, visit each day. You can watch her goings-on in many different places, in the garden or on one of the many terraces. My two dogs, lucky and liam are always at my side and love to relax with me at the pool. We are very grown together with our environment. The children of our neighbors, from local families, are often visiting us. But also friends and my family from Germany visit me very often. So at our large table, where 18 people have space, often a colorful hustle and bustle with many stories from around the world at home. We are happy to visit guests from all over the world, because the house has a lot of space and space. I am happy to show and explain to all guests the wonderful world in which I live.
