Welcome to my homestay North of Christchurch. Close to the airport and 20 minutes of biking to the University and/or the City centre. I have several bikes you can use for free. The bus stops close to the house and can take you to the city centre or any other destination. It is a safe quiet area. My name is Ellis and this is my house. It has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Your single room is downstairs and you share the big bathroom with lynnette my friend and flatmate. The patio and garden can be used when you want to be outside. I have 2 well-behaved and loving dogs. Citrine a miniature poodle and Sapphire a cavoodle. I have traveled to many countries around the world and love people from all different cultures. Respect is the basis of every positive relationship I believe. looking forward to hearing from you and hopefully meeting you.

My stay at Ellis place was brilliant! Ellis is a super lovely, wonderful, and helpful woman full of positive energy! Her two cute dogs were welcoming me since the very first day. I was staying at Ellis’s house for more than 2 months and I felt sad to leave. Ellis is always up for any kind of adventure. She also gave me a bike which helped me a lot! It was a pleasure to have Ellis around me. She is open-minded and welcoming everyone! I will visit her soon again.

My stay at Ellis' home was a delight! She is so friendly, welcoming, and has some great knowledge about the local area. The place is lovely, with lots of beautiful flowers, 2 adorable doggies, and is very well-kept. The bed was nice and comfy, it was such a great change from the hostel experiences I've had. I highly recommend staying here.

Ellis und Citrine, ihr kleiner verspielter Pudel, sind DIE perfekten Gastgeber! Mein Freund und ich haben für drei Nächte in dem Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad und einem großen Balkon übernachtet und es war großartig. Alles war sauber, wir haben Handtücher zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen und konnten alles nutzen - egal ob Küche, Wohnzimmer, Garten oder Waschmaschine. Zudem kommt, dass wir uns auch noch Fahrräder von ihr ausborgen hätten können. Ellis hat uns bei unserer Ankunft nicht nur vom Flughafen abgeholt und nach unserem Aufenthalt zu JUCY, wo wir uns einen Campervan gemietet haben, gebracht, sondern gab uns Tag für Tag wertvolle Tipps für Christchurch und ganz Neuseeland. Nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt, gibt es eine Haltestelle, wo man mit dem Bus circa 15 Minuten in die Stadt braucht. In die andere Richtung würde es direkt zum Flughafen gehen. Jedes Ticket kostet 4NZD = 2,20€. Nicht nur Ellis, sondern auch Citrine zeigte Gastfreundschaft und holte sich immer wieder ein paar Spiel- und Kuscheleinheiten ab. Alles in allem hatten wir dort eine wundervolle Zeit, die wir auf gar keinen Fall missen möchten! Ein riesengroßes Dankeschön and Ellis und Citrine! Hoffentlich bis bald!

Lovely modern, clean house, fairly near to the airport. Ellis was a great host, good company and very helpful. She has a 7 month old poodle which was really cute (& fun to play with). We had a double room, and another guest stayed in the other bedroom, both on the ground floor, & we shared a bathroom (also v nice). Ellis asked us if there was anything she could improve on, but we couldnt think of anything.
