Hi, we are a family of 3 and our dog and 2 cats. We rent a room in our house which is located 5km to downtown and 15 minutes from YVR airport. We are located in a popular location famous for restaurants and Queen Elizabeth park. The #3 and #25 buses intersect just one block from our house. Please read the following info: I need to let you know that this website charges a 15% fee to reserve your room but none of the fee comes to me, this is their booking fee to confirm your booking. When you arrive I will need payment in Canadian cash and maybe Paypal but I will not have the means to accept payments via credit card. I hope this makes sense. I will need a $100 deposit for damage (refundable) and please pay this damage deposit and accommodation fee in full upon arrival on your first day and I will hand you your own key for access. The person living with me must be 19 years or older. I cannot accept minors due to the legal responsibility I might assume by accepting minors. Please no loud noises after 9pm as the kids sleep at this time. Please be mindful of shower / bathroom times as we have just the 1 bathroom. We need to keep the washroom vacant between 8.00 pm to 9.00 pm each day so the children get to bed on time. Thanks for your understanding! Please no drugs, no cannabis and absolutely no smoking/vaping of any kind on or around the property. Please no smokers as the smell of cigarettes gets everywhere and as this is a family home I don't wish for this to be around my kids. I hope you understand that I cannot bend on this rule and it may be necessary for you to find other accommodation. Please do not store food or eat in your room. Oil stains on bed linen is difficult to remove, spills damage furniture. There is a table on the main floor and we would love to eat with you. Must be ok with dogs and cats as they live inside the home with us. Our dog loves visitors! Also please don't feed the dog! There are some things she can't eat and will get quite sick, experience severe pain and require an expensive visit to the veterinarian. Wifi is included and you will have your own keys. laundry machines are available downstairs. Breakfast cereal, milk, tea and coffee is provided and included in the price. Use of my microwave and hot water kettle is ok but the oven and stove for cooking is not available at this time. I have a separate fridge for your groceries to store your sandwich ingredients, fruit, salad and soup. Please do not store food or cook in your room. You can store all your food in the fridge or shelf in the kitchen. Please let me know if you have any requirements eg. Need a night light, hair dryer, towels etc If you wish for me to explain any of the above I will be happy to explain any of this to you. looking forward to hosting you!

Le séjour chez Andréa était parfait. Elle et ses enfants sont très accueillants, sympathiques et toujours disponible si besoin. La localisation de la maison est très bien dans un quartier sûr et avec tous les commerces nécessaires. Aussi un chien et 2 chats très gentils. Ce qui permet de se sentir à la maison même à des milliers de kilomètres. Je recommande a 100%

I spent almost a month in Andrea's house before finding an apartment to live in for at least two years. Living at Andrea's was definitively the best introduction to Vancouver. The house is very well located, and my room was super clean, bright, and had everything I needed. Andrea is a perfect host : available, attentive, and so kind. Her kids are really nice, and her pets are adorable. I was always welcome to share good times with her and her family. And as the place is super quiet, I was able to rest and work on my projects. It was simply perfect. Thanks again Andrea! And for those who would like to spend time in Vancouver, I highly recommend renting a room at Andrea's !
