I was born and spend my whole childhood in this house, which was built in 1932 in the residential quarter Zlín-Nivy. In the mansard roof we've recently developed an apartment of 90m2 which we rent to guests from all over the world. The apartment has WIFI-access for free, can accommodate up to 4 people and is equipped with everything one needs in order to feel like home. The living room/balcony has a wonderful view over Zlín, a fireplace, satellite TV, DVD and CD/Radio as well as a library and movie collection for rainy days. The enclosed garden invites for barbecue. The center of Zlín can be reached in 10 minutes walk or in 5 minutes by car or public transport. Zlín was the center of world's shoe production. My parents live in the first floor, speak fluently German and thanks to their diligent studies in the last three years also a good English. My mum loves to bake, thus guests can regularly enjoy her delicious cakes... Zlín is a mecca for all lovers of architecture - who wants to experience the Czech functionalism at the highest level, can't miss it.
