Rating: (5) The house is located in the heart of Glasnevin, close to the Botanic Garden, in a lovely neighbourhood. Bus stops are just 1 min away and the busses bring you to the city center in about 15 min. on a very regular base (usually every 5-10 min. on working days), but you can also choose to walk if you prefer that. A shopping center and a post office are close and easy to reach. The house itself is super-cozy and charming, kitchen, dining room and living room are equally cozy, beautiful and very clean. You instantly feel at home, not only for the house, but also for Ann. It was the warmest welcome that you can imagine. She is there when you need her, but leaves you on your own if you prefer that. One can see that she´s been travelling a lot, so she understands what it means to be somewhere far from home and helps you not only with the daily bits and pieces and whereabouts, but also just by being herself. Thank you for the wonderful stay, the great evening talks and the many, many laughs at half past! :-)

Rating: (5) Staying in Ann's home has been a really positive experience. It is located in a peaceful neighbourhood surrounded by some nice pubs, restaurants and grocery stores and it only takes 30-35 minutes on foot or 10-15 minutes by bus to reach the city centre. Besides, if you like to workout outdoors, the nearest park is equipped with dip and pull-up bars and other pieces of equipment.
Regarding the host, I can say that Ann is really kind and honest and if you have a problem she will not hesitate to help you. In fact, she actually really helped me to solve an important issue that I hadn't addressed in time (I am a serial procrastinator, thanks again Ann).
If you are planning to visit Dublin, I highly advise you to book a room in her house.
