I was born and raised in Cape Town and managed to pursue a career as a bookkeeper. Although my profession was never my passion, it enabled me to look after my family. Years later an opportunity arose and I started a catering and décor company which took off instantaneously. Because of my love for cooking and my passion for people, I met up with a previous homestay owner and once again was given the opportunity to spread my wings. I now do what I love most and have the continued support of my husband, two daughters and my son. I thank the lord each day. I could not have done it without Him. There is nothing I love more than being in the kitchen. It's where I get creative with my Cape Malay dishes. My signature dishes, Butter Chicken, Bread Pudding and Milk Tart Pancakes are just a few of favourite meals, I usually prepare for my guests. Butter Chicken to die for, as my youngest daughter would say. I love reading Christian literature, my all-time favourite book being the Bible. It never gets old and there are always lessons to learn. My golden rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, Cook for others as you would like to eat!!! . We are in close proximity of Tygerberg Hospital, UWC and the Tectonic Velodrome. Conveniently close to all Public Transport, or alternatively our Tip Top Chauffers and Tour Guides Francois & Malvin, will be all too pleased to make sure you get to your destination safely. Bellville Mall is located in walking distance and has a Spar, some Restaurants and a Dental and Medical Centre. Tyger Valley Mall, Parow Centre, and Century City Shopping Centre are all just a few minutes away. We have hosted hundreds of guests, all from different backgrounds and cultures, and you can rest assure that Nadia & Hazel and the rest of the team are hands-on in the daily management. Their caring nature urge them to give a safe haven to those away from their families due to other commitments. We offer standard accommodation to please everyone's pocket and invite travellers to use Twin Palms as your base, while attending to business or exploring this unique area.
