I my and my son Marcelo, we lived in an old and spacious apartment near the historic center of Curitiba. We have a large living room and a spacious kitchen and laundry room layout. We have a full shared. The house has three bedrooms, a mine, the second is my son, and the third is available to the Host. It is a large room and is facing the street. I'm 58, and I am a quiet person, work with arts and crafts, I do not speak any language other than Portuguese, but my son is fluent in English and Spanish. I like that the guest gets too will as you would in your own home. The guest is free to cook, and even invite friends. I offer hosting option with full power and courtesy can wash and iron your clothes. For young guests, as students, I'm happy to treat them as if they were my children. What I love most about my house, are the people with whom to share.

It was a stay beyond great of almost 5 months with Selma, Marcelo and Rogerio. I was here as a student a the university and needed a base near from the center ans bus station. Selma is very generous as well in his cooking as in life. The flat is really nice and reflect the artistic personnality of the hosts with a lot of paints of Rogerio and nice furnitures. Curitiba is a very big city but in this neighborhood, you felt in a popular and artistic district where people knows each others. If you love the noble art of the conversation, Rogerio will be happy to offer tout somes juicy stories on his dense life or on the Brasil. Marcelo speak a very good english and in a general way, the language is not a problem. Well, I can only encourage you to pass a few days (or few months !) with Selma if you need to go to Curitiba. Marcelo, I let tout translate it for you mom ! (unless Rogerio want to try it, he is better in English than in Frenh ;) ) Muito obrigado para vcs ! Guillaume Dréno

Selma went above and beyond my expectations, and I am very grateful for her generosity. She does things she doesn’t have to like allowing you to wash your clothes in her house, giving rides to the bus station and airport, and offering breakfasts that are not at all "light" (instead they are bountiful and delicious). Her husband, Rogerio, is also very welcoming and interesting. He is a well-known artist in Curitiba, so we got to see some of his artwork that is exhibited around town.

It was great. Selma and Rogeiro are amazing and very sweet people who made me feel at home the whole time I was there. My stay in Curitiba was so much nicer because I stayed with Selma and Rogerio. Their apartment is nice and very clean, it's pretty well located near downtown. The room is nice and comfortable, it has a TV and a computer. There's only one bathroom, but that was never a problem. Great breakfast too. Selma only speaks Portuguese which wasn't much of a problem for me since I speak Spanish, but Rogerio speaks a little English, a little French and a little Spanish. Selma and Rogerio are the nicest hosts, they always try to make you feel at home. Plus Rogerio is an incredible painter which adds to the whole experience! They were my hosts, but they became my friends. I would definitely come back and stay with them. Obrigada Selma and Rogerio!
