Staying at Hostal la Casa Roja allows you to enjoy the main tourist attractions and nightclubs most demanded by tourists visiting the city of Trinidad. located just 20 m from the Casa de la Trova and a square surrounded by houses - art galleries where you can see and buy the original paintings of painters of the villa. Also only 20 meters from the Gourmet Restaurant, one of the most prestigious for the quality of the dishes they offer. In this house 2 rooms are rented air-conditioned, one of them with capacity for 4 people and located in the second level of the house, the other with capacity for 3 people and located in the first level. The bathrooms are private, inside each room, has permanent cold and hot water service and provides everything necessary for personal hygiene. Both have TV, wall fans; Minibar or refrigerator stocked with beers, sodas and water.Â There is wifi service in the house available to customers. The landline can be used free of charge. Marlén and Jose Alberto, the hosts, are very kind people. Marlén is a professional tour guide, he has a good command of the English language and has a lot of information about the history and legends of the city.

La habitación era genial, excelente ubicación y el desayuno era delicioso. Mailén fue muy útil para organizar una excursión de un día, conseguirnos un taxi y asegurarse de que el registro fuera fácil. Definitivamente me quedaría de nuevo!

Mailen is the kindest, sweetest woman. I am very lucky I stayed at her house and recommend everyone else to do the same. Not only is she great, but the room is as well. She will also help you plan activities. Without her, I would have had a lot of trouble. Thanks so much Mailen!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Nice clean room, very attractive location. A roof terrace with a beautiful view of the setting sun. Mailén is very friendly and helpful.

The home is lovely. The room is located on the second floor terrace which makes you feel like you have a whole apartment to yourself. You're able to see the mountains to your east and ocean to your north from the roof! The room was spacious ! could host more than 1 person considering the 2 beds. Clean beach and bathroom towels are provided, so is soap and toiletries . Another thing, the room is safety secured with a lock which you'll be the only one with access to for the remaining of your trip. Breakfast was sufficient, I invited friends i met during my trip for breakfast at my place and we were satisfied! Definitely take advance of service. If you're interested in doing any excursion or activities , feel free to ask the host to set it up for you . It will save you the potential street hustlers and she will find things at a better rate than travellers would. The family is friendly, kind and attentive. Consider their restaurant suggestions! I found some amazing finds through them. I would rate my stay a 10 out of 10.

We had 4 very nice days with our children at the house of Mailén in Trinidad. Location of the house is very central and therefore everything was close. Mailén speaks well in English and helped a lot with organising taxi and programs, had given good recommendations for restaurants and excursions.

Très bon accueil malgré la coupure d'électricité (orage). Chambres et salles de bains très propres et agréables avec vue sur la patio intérieur. A l'étage supérieur très belle terrasse avec vue magnifique sur la ville. Petit-déjeuner copieux.

Trinidad città bellissima con gente fantastica . Abbiamo scelto la casa di Mailen perchè vicina al centro storico e perciò estremamente vicina alla casa della musica e alla casa della trova...amiamo tantissimo ballare...comunque Mailen ci ha ospitato nella sua casa come persone di famiglia. Ci ha mostrato la città accompagnandoci alla cadeca in banca nei negozi che potevano interessarci ed è stata sempre a nostra disposizione. Grazie perciò a Mailen e alla sua famiglia per averci permesso di fare una vacanza in serenità e sicurezza e soprattutto un grazie per la sua simpatia aggiunta alla sua bellezza e semplicità.....spero di poter ritornare a Trinidad presto

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette casa. Bon accueil. Chambre agréable, bien équipée et propre 100%. Très bien placé par rapport au centre hsitorique. Le petit-déjeuner est très bon, et très agréable sur le toit terrasse. L'hôte est toujours à l'écoute si besoin. N'hésitez pas à réserver ici. ------------------- Tuvimos una estancia muy agradable en esta casa. Bienvenido. Bonita habitación, bien equipada y limpia al 100%. Muy bien ubicado próximo del centro histórico. El desayuno es muy bueno y muy agradable en la terraza de la azotea. El anfitrión siempre escucha si es necesario. No dude en reservar aquí.
