The home is Brick built on the edge and the start of the pristine Waikato River. The river is a direct outlet from lake Taupo. has controlled water capacity. There are many great swimming spots, one right out side your room. Our home is a short flat walk of approx 10 to 15 minutes along the river walkway to Taupo Shopping center and restaurants and lake. Along the way is native bush to view and ducks to feed lots of bird life including the sound of Tui singing in the trees. The river is a local spot for swimmers Kayakers, and the odd Trout fisherman. Also 10 to 15 min walk is Tongaria Park where concerts and events are held & Saturday markets. There are numerous walks along the river including the famous Huka falls walk. Where parts of the river are heated you can stop for a warm soak. There are ducks to feed. Taupo is a tourist town with all the adventures only a short distance away. We are also located near Spar Park & Thermal Pools & Wairakei thermal pools. Our home comprises of 3 bedrooms all on ground level. River View room has a very comfortable new queen size bed, Ensuite bathroom (ie in room) which includes a WC, shower, hand basin, TV, small fridge, tea coffee facilities. Microwave available. Single bed on request . The Second bedroom is ideal for couples, family it consists of an ensuite Bathroom, Shower, WC, Vanity. Smart TV. Our home has an open plan Kitchen, Dining, living room with Gas fireplace for the cooler evenings all rooms lead out to a barbeque area, which has stunning River views. Rotorua is 3/4 hour away. Both rooms are similar located in a separate wing of the home with a separate entrance which means late nights are never a problem. Although guests are welcome to join us until approx 9.30pm Cooked or Continental Breakfast served in our Dining Room available Friday, Saturday, Sunday , an extra cost from 8.30am. Brown Bag Continental Breakfast is available to purchase, placed in your room. consists of. ,Juice, Toast, Muffin, Cereal, Jam, cost $5.00 per person

It was a very good quiet location a very nice and cozy room with everything you would expect for Faye even has a cup cake for us which is a nice touch the room is A1 condition, We would come back here again and highly recommend if you are in Taupo and thank you so much Faye it was a lovely stay

Excellent property along with excellent hospitality. Ideal location clise to the city centre. Only draw- back was lack of privacy due to no fencing to block public pathway opposite room (6m).

Faye is so wellcoming on our arrival the home is fantastic in comfort, location and a step out to the river our bed was superiour comfort all the room, ensuite ammenties are a+++++ my wife an myself enjoyed breakfast at a good coast but the biggest warmth in this homestay is your host Faye

Excellent accommodation and a 15 minute walk into Taupo along the river. Faye is an excellent hostess, and made us feel very welcome into her home. Shall definitely stay with her again.
