The room was nice and clean, anyway too expensive in relation of other accomodations we found in l'Havana. Most of all the host didn't give us any usefull advice about how to move in L'havana and Cuba, but actually she suggested us the most expensive option.

Quedarnos donde Rosa ha sido una experiencia maravillosa. A solicitud de mostros ella hizo los arreglos para que un taxi nos recogiera en el aeropuerto a nuestra llegada/salida ( que por cierto vinimos todos el mismo día pero en 4 vuelos diferentes y a distintas horas) El loft esta decorada con gusto al estilo antiguo, nos quedamos allí una familia de 5 personas. El espacio es de verdad maravilloso, amplio, muy limpio y tiene aire acondicionado. Nuestros anfitriones eran muy atento a nuestras peticiones y a la vez muy discretas. Los pedíamos informaciones de autobús y lugares y nos la daban con gusto y con muchos detalles y con otras opciones también Eran lo máximo, recuerdo el nombre de una de ellas que es Yamila pero la otra se me escapa totalmente. El desayuno es mas que bueno para un desayuno ligero : Huevos, crepes, jugo, frutas, leche, café, aguacate, postre. Excelente desayuno! Ahora lo único que no me gusto ( y no es per se un punto negativo ya que arreglar eso conllevaría un gasto muy elevado). Pero Oh Dios! todavía no entiendo como un ingeniero pudo construir unas escaleras así (2) en una casa. Hay una en forma de caracol y al subirla hay que inclinarse a 60 grados mínimo para no dar con la cabeza en uno de los peldaños. En cuanto a la otra escalera: ni hablar, a mitad de la escalera hay que ponerse literalmente en 4 patas y agarrarse de los peldaños mas arriba para no caer. El otro punto es que siendo un loft, creo que hizo falta una cafetera, una mini estufa eléctrica, y algunos utensilios como platos, cubiertos etc. ( había muchos vasos y claro nos dieron unos platos tan pronto lo solicitamos pero eso debería estar incluido en el lugar para no tener que ir a pedir algo prestado a cada rato. Estos fueron los únicos dos puntos que encontré negativo. Ahora, La pregunta es si regresaría con mi familia a quedarme con Rosa???? Sin pensarlo dos veces. Lo recomendaría a mis amigos! Sin duda alguna. Es un espacio maravilloso, amplio, súper limpio y agradable, a buen precio, cerca del malecón y de la Avenida Paseo del Prado. Me encanto el lugar.

If you are staying in Old Havana, this is the place to stay! It is more expensive than other places but...you get what you pay for. I am a 55 year old female and traveled June, 2-6) to Havana to meet up with my son who was there for three weeks studying. I wanted a safe, clean place with close access to Old Havana. I met Rosa and Charles at check-in who are a very nice couple. After that, Yamily and Darly were the ones that took care of me. The breakfasts were delicious. The room was immaculately clean (I stayed in the 2 twin bed room) with private bathroom. Cold air conditioner and warm water. Yamily and Darly are very passionate about taking care of their guests and fun and informative to visit with. The homestay is located upstairs at the LaCalifornia Restaurant and within 1 minute walking distance to the Malecon and 5 minutes walking to Old Havana plaza area. When I return to Havana, I will stay here again. If you are wanting a clean, safe place, close to everything and willing to pay the extra money, this is the place for you! Tara Penny Colorado, USA
