Our house is located in Ambato, one of the quieter cities of Ecuador in the sierra area of â€‹â€‹the country located 2 hours from Quito airport and only 30 minutes from Baños where extreme sports can be done and is ideal for foreign tourists. We are a family with a 2 year old daughter and we like to meet new people from all over the world and we also enjoy traveling. Our neighborhood is very friendly, safe and quiet. For security of our guests the house has alarm. It is a very spacious house.

Raul and Soraya were very welcoming and Raul, in particular, took time out from his very busy home life to provide breakfast, while Soraya was committed to her young children. We especially appreciated Raul providing us with information on the flower and fruit festival activities (synonymous with carnival) and on places to visit in and around Ambato. Ambato on these dates (which vary annually) is a very enjoyable venue (floral creations, procession, music etc). While guests should not expect accommodation as in an up-market hotel, we had a spacious double bedroom and sole use of an adjoining bathroom.
