Avoid. Ernesto is a Cuban hustler who tried charging me $40/night after I agreed to only pay $25/night via the Homestay website.

I had an amazing experience on my trip to Havana, and all, or most of it have to do with the place I stay on. First, I have to say that Ernesto is a great host, plus the place was clean and comfortable, as he described in the side. Second, Ernesto also can do transportation service for affordable price. Third, The neighborhood is one of the cleanest, quiet, and friendly of all the neighborhood I had visited on Havana Cuba. I also have to mention that the Breakfast was good in quality and quantity, and is all included with your stay price. I recommend everybody to stay in Ernesto’s place when visiting Havana Cuba.
