Big and bright bedrooms, for female guest, in Salamanca neighborhood (Madrid) You'll share the apartment with us, Asun and José (aged 62), our dog Pipo, a 14 year old miniature schnauzer, and another guest. We live in one of the best neighborhoods in Madrid (Salamanca / Goya), which has an unbeatable transport network. Our apartment has 160 m2, 3 bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and 3 bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom (not ensuite). "Bedroom 1" (Peñalver) is 20m2, with two balconies, very bright and has all the comforts. "Bedroom 2" (Ayala) is 12m2, with 1 balcony, bright and has all the comforts. Sheets, pillows, blankets and towels are provided. The private guest bathrooms are located close to the rooms and have everything you need (EACH ROOM HAS ITS OWN BATHROOM). House cleaning, including the guest rooms and bathrooms are done frequently and sheets and towels are changed once a week (usually on Tuesday). Guests can use the washing machine once a week (additional usage charge: €4) and portable clothesline and iron are provided on request. light Breakfast is INClUDED in the price of the room. You can smoke outside the house (there are 5 balconies). Do not hesitate to ask us to expand this information or clarify any questions.

José y Asun, dos personas increíbles! Me quede en su casa por una semana y me sentí super cómoda, tenes todo lo necesario para que tu estadía sea espectacular. La habitación es encantadora, espaciosa, muuy limpia y se puede descansar muy bien. También tenes tu baño propio con todo lo que necesitas. Además tienes todo cerca del piso desde supermercados, locales y bares! Te dan tu privacidad y la posibilidad de conversar con ellos (lo cual lo recomiendo) ya que son muy buenas personas, interesantes y con humor!! Me aconsejaron y ayudaron mucho en mi conocimiento sobre la ciudad y un poco de la vida en general. Asun me enseño a hacer paella y comimos juntos los 3 el último almuerzo que estuve allí! Siempre atentos si necesitas ayuda con lo que sea. Y no me quiero olvidar de Pipo, su perro que es un amor también!! Sumamente agradecida por todo! Nos volveremos a ver pronto

Esta estadía en casa de Jose y Asun ha sido una de las experiencias más importantes en mi viaje a Madrid. Todo fue correcto desde que realicé la reserva, antes de la fecha, jose se comunica acertivamente contigo, te explica en detalle todo el servicio que ofrecen en su casa. Al llegar, te reciben de una manera muy acogedora, al igual que Pipo su mascota (que es encantadora). La casa es preciosa hay un detalle que apreciar en cada rincón. Conté con cada una de las necesidades básicas en el cuarto, baño y cocina, que para lo que he estado acostumbrada fue genial! Me he sentido muy bien en esta casa maravillosa y volvería a quedarme sin pensarlo. Agradezco mucho nuevamente a Jose y Asun por su generosidad, amabilidad y confianza para conmigo en este tiempo en Madrid. ¡Super recomendadísimo! No dudes en reservar con ellos. Hasta pronto!

ENGLISH I had a fantastic 2 months with Jose and Asún! For context, I moved to Madrid in March for a long-term job. I decided it would be a good idea to live with a Spanish family for the first few months of my new move in order to practice the language consistently and to establish some good relationships in Madrid. And I am so glad that I did! Jose and Asún were the perfect hosts- very friendly, very patient and helpful with my language learning journey. I ate lunch and dinner with them almost every day and we had many many interesting conversations. They always went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable and at home in their apartment. One weekend, they even invited me to join them on a day trip up the mountains outside of Madrid- and we had a blast! When the time came for me to move out, they even helped me to move into my new apartment where I now live. I am very thankful for my time with Jose and Asún and I am happy to say that we are good friends now! I plan to hang out with them in the future though I no longer live with them! The apartment itself was perfect as well. The room was spacious and beautiful with big windows facing the streets of Madrid. The house was always clean and well decorated. I always had plenty of privacy. I totally recommend this homestay option for anyone looking to spend time in Madrid! Without a doubt, 5 stars for Jose and Asún! SPANISH He pasado 2 meses fantásticos con Jose y Asún. Para contextualizar, me mudé a Madrid en marzo por un trabajo a largo plazo. Decidí que sería una buena idea vivir con una familia española durante los primeros meses de mi nueva mudanza para practicar el idioma constantemente y establecer algunas buenas relaciones en Madrid. Y me alegro mucho de haberlo hecho. José y Asún fueron los anfitriones perfectos: muy amables, muy pacientes y serviciales con mi viaje de aprendizaje del idioma. Comí y cené con ellos casi todos los días y tuvimos muchas conversaciones interesantes. Siempre hicieron un esfuerzo adicional para que me sintiera cómodo y como en casa en su apartamento. Un fin de semana, incluso me invitaron a acompañarles en una excursión de un día a las montañas de las afueras de Madrid, ¡y lo pasamos genial! Cuando llegó el momento de mudarme, incluso me ayudaron a mudarme a mi nuevo apartamento donde vivo ahora. Estoy muy agradecida por el tiempo que pasé con Jose y Asún y me alegra decir que ahora somos buenos amigos. Pienso seguir pasando tiempo con ellos en el futuro aunque ya no viva con ellos. El apartamento en sí era perfecto también. La habitación era espaciosa y hermosa con grandes ventanas que daban a las calles de Madrid. La casa estaba siempre limpia y bien decorada. Siempre tuve mucha privacidad. ¡Recomiendo totalmente esta opción de alojamiento en casa de familia para cualquiera que quiera pasar un tiempo en Madrid! Sin duda, ¡5 estrellas para Jose y Asún!

Tuve tiempo perfecto con José y Asun. Ellos fueron muy amables y muy acogedores. La habitación era muy grande, y el ambiente era muy agradable. Voy a regresar a vivir con ellos otra vez absolutamente. ¡Muchas gracias por todos!

Asún y Jose son muy simpáticos. La habitación es muy grande, con muchos armarios. Y tiene el cuarto de baño separados de la habitación solo para usted. Mi estancia fue buenísimo con ellos y lo recomiendo a quien quiera visitar o estudiar a Madrid.

Son muy amables, abiertos y comunicativos. El ambiente es muy familiar. La habitación es igual que en las fotos y muy luminosa con un balcón bastante grande. El piso está situado en una zona muy buena con muchísimas tiendas y cerca del parque retiro. Sin duda volvería a hospedarme con ellos.
