The hosts of Ginger homestay is a family of a caring Mom and a lovely little daughter. Thuy â€“ the lady host is a native Ha long women who has lived in Hanoi for 15 years and roughly 5 years in Cat Ba island. Before settling down back in her Halong hometown, she has been experiencing several positions: a tour guide leading international tourist visiting her stunning North of Vietnam and also a owner - chef of a little restautaurant serving traditional Vietnamese foods in Hanoi. Anh is a lovely 10 years old girl who to took a great care of her little 5 years old brother during their 45 days trip on a tuk tuk travelling through out Srilanka and 90 days travelling â€“ camping with her Daddy in the U.S, Mexico and Cuba. She has big loves for animal, especially kitty and puppy.. They have been spending time toghether to do lots of research, and toghether with great helps from friends, they re-constructed the house, self-design garden landscaping, recycle used pallets and make such loving home furnitures with the one and only DIY's tools. They expected Ginger is a happy, cozy house to learn and share love of traveling, culture, food, peopleâ€¦ and ultimately a place where their guests can feel right at home. Our home conveniently located only 3 kilometres from the down town with beautiful Bãi Cháy beach and 6km from the Tuan Chau cruise wharf. Nearly 400 hundred square meter of green garden with lots of flowers, fruits and tropical trees giving anyone a great breathing when hang around there and it was all created by the host's DIY works. It offers a relaxing retreat in busy Ha long city. From the house, you can easily walk or bike around to discover interesting places of the bustling city such as: local seacoast market, temples, museum, churchâ€¦ or just simply having a lovely sun bath in beautiful beach then heading your cozy home to join the real life of local people with their traditional culture and hospitality. All rooms in the garden are bright and airy, featuring large windows. They are fully air conditioned and offer a flat-screen cable TV, a seating area and comfy bathroom facilities. There is a great outdoor BBQ and a cozy kitchen where guests can join the host to learn and cook a great meals during their stay. lets make your stay memorable with us.

Le was just great, she helped me in all I needed, it was my first time in vietnam and she already knew what I was gonna need and gave me all tips to make my experience better. She also made traditional food for us and showed us how to make those delicious dishes and good also Vietnamese coffee. I would recommend her to everyone since she made me feel like being in a real family house.

Lee is the most helpful host we ever had. Her home is lovely: the garden offers a beautiful piece of nature, the rooms are very cosy, the whole ambiance is respectful and welcoming. As a couple, we recommand Ginger Homestay.
