My house is located close to a great shoppings center, The StoneBriar Mall and The Shops of legacy;you will find a variety of restaurants and entertainment venues. It is also, accessible to two mayors HWY: " HWY 121, and Dallas North Tollway ." We are 22 miles from downtown Dallas and 25 miles from the DFW Airport. I'm a semi-retired College professor, my only son has already left the nest. I love to travel and learn about other cultures, this is why I'm doing Homestay because now that I don't travel so often, people from all over the world can come to my house and bring the riches of the world to me. I have a permanent roommate, his name is Brian, he is in his 40's, he works for a bank downtown Dallas, He is very respectful and friendly, he also keeps the bathroom, that will be share with the guests very clean. The bedroom is located upstairs and has a queen size bed, a desk, 42'TV with cable, a window with a view to the pool and a double closet. One of the living rooms(with a big TV), the kitchen, the laundry room, the pool is available to the guest. The guest can park anywhere in the street (this is a very safe neighborhood). My gym lifetime Fitness is located about 6 blocks away, if the guest would like to use it, I will be happy to supply a day pass. We primarily speak English in the house but I also speak Spanish and little bit of french. For public transportation you can take the bus, 5 blocks a way. This bus can also take you to the train station, which is a faster transportation to get to other towns or Dallas (day pass $5). The grocery store and restaurants are somewhat walking distance. We are available as much as our schedules permitted. Feel free to ask us for any information that you might need, it will not be a bother.
