Casa Amanda y Julia is a traditional Cuban house built in 1959. Our guesthouse consists of two rooms that have both been recently renovated. We are located right in the center of town, which means that our guests have everything nearby: the town square, banks, museums, bars, and night clubs. If you come to us for quiet solitude, we completely get that. Our rooms have a separate private entrance, so your stay will be completely undisturbed. However, as we are Cubans, staying with us can be a social experience too. We have a common dining room and two terraces where you can enjoy a cold mojito in the sun, while getting to know the other guests and our family. We might not all be fluent in English, but always have a smile for you. One of the questions we often hear from tourists is, "where do I find a good traditional Cuban meal"? If that's what you're after, look no further! Amanda is legendary for her cooking, and your meals here may well be some of the best you'll have during your stay in Cuba - at least that's what many of our guests keep saying. If you decide to dine with us, we will present you with a menu to choose from in the morning, and Amanda will prepare the dishes for your liking. Viñales is recognized as a World Heritage site by UNESCO, and with its beautiful beaches and breathtaking landscapes, along with the largest system of natural caves in South America, our region is one of the most picturesque in Cuba. Should you need help organizing your stay here, we can take care of that too. Want to attend a dance class, visit the bar with the best live music, need a taxi, or a guide for your day trip to one of the local sights, just let us know. Amanda and her family were very warm and welcoming! The bedroom is quiet, comfortable and close to town and amenities! Amanda was kind to arrange my tours and transport, and her mother is an exceptional cook! I enjoyed my stay!

Amanda and her mom were very nice hosts. They organized tours through the tobacco and coffee plantations, organized taxis, and made wonderful breakfasts and dinners. The rooms were all very clean, and the Casa is very near to the city center. Muchas gracias, Amanda!

We had a very nice stay at Amanda's and Julia's home! The room was clean and cozy. They made us very good breakfast at whatever time we wanted! They even changed money for us and organized all tours and taxis. One day we had dinner there and Julia cooked the best camerones we had on our trip!

Amazing! I had such a great time in Vinales (wich, to me, was like a breath of fresh air after Havana). Amanda and Julia made me feel right at home. You can ask them anything and they will help you, always kind and always happy. They arranged a trip for me and made great dinner. I can highly recommend this homestay to anyone. I would also love to come back one day and stay more nights, Vinales is beautiful and filled with nice people. (By the way: if you're horrible at Spanish, like me, this is also the best place to stay, Amanda speaks perfect English). All the best from Holland! Five stars!!!

Cuando llegamos a nuestra casa, parecía haber un problema de agua con el techo; Nos permitieron ir a otra casa de la abuela, a una calle de distancia; Esto fue una decepción por un tiempo, pero la otra casa también estaba bastante bien. La comida era sabrosa, típicamente cubana, y la 'malanga' era súper sabrosa. El viaje a los caballos con un guía que habían contactado para nosotros estuvo bien. Tenemos un buen recuerdo de Viñales y la casa.

My stay in Vinales was amazing. And lovely place and a lovely family. They Casa is located in a small, quiet and peaceful neighborhood, on walking distance of the city centre. A family that makes you feel very welcome. With in the morning a lovely breakfast to start the day perfect. Even the possibility to have diner, which was amazing. In the end I can only conclude that I had an wonderful stay with this family in Vinales.
