We live on the north coast of Bali in the fishing village of Anturan. We have a small house, but we also have some bungalow rooms for guests and our family when they come to visit. We have a pool and have free wifi internet available. We have two mountain bikes available for guests to use during their stay. We love movies and guests are welcome to borrow movies to watch in their rooms. There are quite a few good restaurants within walking distance to our place. We have written a fairly comprehensive guide to the area for guests, including local attractions and places to eat at.

The accommodation was comfortable, but we went expecting a Homestay experience, which I don’t think this is. It’s a guesthouse rather. The Lady owner was lovely, and chatted to us on arrival, but other than that there was very little interaction with the family. We chatted to the Nanny and the gentleman in the restaurant. I feel like the food in the restaurant was very over priced, and so we chose to eat elsewhere, which I suppose is a good thing, so we experience the outside world. And the light breakfast options were not that great. Notes on the room: the rooms are large, larger than on the pictures, the shower is tiled, which made for a slippery experience. It’s quite a distance from the centre of Lovina, and so you spend about 50 000 to get to the tourist activities. The staff were lovely, and they have a great kids pool, they also arranged taxis for us and very accommodating when we asked if we could stay for a shorter time than originally booked. We left slightly earlier to be closer to the town side.
