Near public transport and the city center, one or two rooms for one to five guests, in a large apartment where I live alone. Ideal for a family trip or a group of friends who visit Porto together. My space is close to family activities, nightlife, and the airport (transfer included at arriving, if possible). Next to the beautiful city park of Porto, it is located near the beach (200m), and only at one kilometer from the city center of Matosinhos (fresh fishery and seafood markets). The apartment has two bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, and a balcony overlooking the sea. Spacious (110m2), bright and comfortable, with free public parking. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and a coffee machine. You can access free high-speed WiFi, and cable HD television; and you will have full access to all the apartment (with the exception of other rooms). You'll love my space because of the views (sea, city gardens), and the location (beach, Porto city park), the environment (concerts, e.g., NOS Primavera Sound - at 40 meters...). BUS (all day, 24h) - You can get bus line 500 (Matosinhos Mercado - Praça da liberdade), located at 200m from the apartment, that will take you firstly trough a lovely sea promenade and then along Douro river till the historical centre of Porto named Ribeira or Aliados in about 27 min (17 to 30, depending on time of day), between 5:44 and 0:06; all night, 22 min (bus line 1M). - You can get bus line 502 (Matosinhos Mercado - Bolhão), also located about 200m from the apartment, that will take you straight way till the beautiful old market named "Bolhão" located in the upper of the historical center of Porto in about 34 min (21 to 38, depending on time of day), between 6:00 and 0:15. In the straight way of the bus line 502 you find the Park and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Serralves (9 min); "Casa da Música" (19 min), the first building in Portugal aimed from its conception to be exclusively dedicated to music, either in public performances, or in the field of artistic training and creation; and the historical "Praça da República" (29 min). METRO/SUBWAY (6AM to 1AM) At approximately 600 meters, you'll find the Metro station ("Matosinhos Sul" or "Câmara de Matosinhos") leading you to all possible destinations in Porto (e.g. Sá Carneiro Porto's Airport; Campanhã Main Train station; etc.). PARK and GARDENS The park (and gardens) of the city of Porto (across the street) is the largest urban park in Portugal with an area of 83 hectares (10 km of footpaths) which extends up to the Atlantic Ocean, which is a rarity: ideal for walks and jogging daily. BREAKFAST (self catering) A light breakfast is included: coffee, fruit, milk, cornflakes, bread and butter.
