Kenesbel was a wonderful host who went beyond the call of duty. Her apartment was spotless. Her building has a functioning elevator which made it easy to come and go to her fourth story apartment, especially for my wife who has trouble climbing stairs. Our bedroom refrigerator was stocked with drinks which we paid for on the honor system. When we mentioned that we wanted to see a couple of specific sights in Old and Central Havana, she even volunteered to come with us! Helped us get the get oriented, and refused payment. [Left a tip instead]. My wife wanted to learn Cuban cooking, and she cooked us dinner as well! Kenisbel was friendly, could understand English, a very good host. In addition, her location is very good one and a half blocks from the Malecon, a supermarket, and one of the best hotels in Havana which made purchasing groceries, wifi cards, and changing money easy. It is about a 3 mile walk or 5CUC taxi ride to old Havana. I would highly recommend staying at Kenisbels location if you a true Cuban experience. Dave
