* Females Only* I have been a Homestay host for a number of years and enjoy meeting folk from different countries and cultures. I am very easy going and friendly. I have 2 bedrooms, 1 which I rent out and I also stay in flat. there is use of kitchen, bathroom to share. there is shower, all white goods, internet and central heating throughout. The flat also has secured entry. There are lots of shops nearby including a Morrisons supermarket also a gym, tennis and health club within walking distance and interesting walkways along the River Kelvin to the botanic and canal walks . There are a host of things to do nearby . This flat has good links to train station and buses.. Close to universies and city centre.

The flat is very affordable and in a pleasant location with lots of shops, supermarkets and places to eat nearby. Helen was generous and helpful during my stay. The breakfast, tea and coffee available was a nice addition. Also, the room has a TV with a good selection of DVDs available. The only criticism I have is that the shower was quite basic and forced me to stand on a curved part of the bath - it was pretty treacherous underfoot. I think a shower mat would have made it a little safer or possibly a new showerhead. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay at Helen's and would recommend it.

Malgré la barrière de la langue, la communication se passait très bien, grâce aux efforts de Helen de trouver des mots en français. Elle donnait des bons conseils pour mes circuits touristiques. L'appartement est agréable et calme, dans un immeuble typique de style victorien. Helen est une personne agréable et chaleureuse. Je recommande ! I enjoyed very much my stay at Helen's place. I recommend !

Helen is an amazing host and wonderful woman, extremely helpful, chilled. You can always have a good chat with her, she would recommend good places to visit, too. I enjoyed staying at her home and if you’re looking for someone socialible yet quiet flat Helen is the right person. I wish her all the best with homestay.

Helen left me to do my own thing, the house was very clean, large Tv with freeveiw in bedroom, Wifi was good , no complaints, would defiantly stay again
